Here’s a little haiku for you as I get brought up to speed on my new job in the Canary Islands:

Canary Islands
Volcanic continental
Somehow part of Spain

And here’s one about what my future is looking like:

Coordinate PR
Rub elbows with the famous
Say goodbye to sleep

We’ll be setting sail in just three days! I can’t wait, it’s set to be 14 days of dolphins and hopefully a couple of good storms. This will be my eighth sail on board the Africa Mercy and my second time crossing the equator. I’ll be sure to tell you more about it next Wednesday! I also have a lot to talk about after hosting the BBC this week, which I’ll follow up with this weekend I think. Until then, I’ll leave you with one final Haiku:

Tasty sangria
How the Spanish love you so
You’re just wine and fruit
